Italian Greyhound
The Italian Greyhound, often referred to as the "IG" or "Iggy," is a captivating and elegant breed that embodies grace and refinement in a compact package. Belonging to the toy group, these slender dogs possess a distinctive appearance characterized by a sleek, fine coat that comes in various colors. Their narrow head, long neck, and expressive dark eyes contribute to an almost deer-like charm, while their delicate, yet muscular, build hints at their incredible agility. With a distinctive arched back and a gracefully curved tail, the Italian Greyhound's silhouette is a testament to its regal poise and athletic prowess.
Beyond their aesthetic appeal, Italian Greyhounds are known for their affectionate and loyal nature. My discovery of Iggies
I had no idea about the Italian greyhound dog breed initially, I had heard of Greyhounds, and seen them on tv, in sports or walking the neighborhood, but mini greyhounds- I had never heard or seen one before!
My friend, who eventually become one of my mentors- she had been breeding Italian greyhounds for a long time when I met her, ironically at a dog show. Being around her Iggies, I quickly fell in love with their quirky, super snuggly and sweet nature and elegant looks.
My obsession with them grew when she gifted me one of her litter picks which I would name Sita, which means princess, and which become the start of my Italian greyhound breeding program.

Finding the best…
As my love for the Igy breed grew, I wanted to find the best examples of the breed, and start showing, sports and being active in our local dog community here in Hawaii.
Bringing dogs into Hawaii is a super stressful, expensive and long process, but I am dedicated to keeping this amazing breed in Hawaii and building new lines, offering different colors, while breeding healthy, happy dogs that live life to the fullest in paradise.
We test our Italian greyhounds extensively, patella, and heart, and genetic tests through embark, and uc Davis to make sure that the latest leading research is being applied to our genetics.
